Straightening, in plain terms
Clear aligners are thin, custom-made trays that fit snugly over your teeth. Each set is shaped slightly differently from the last, so wearing them applies gentle, steady pressure that moves your teeth a little at a time toward their final position.
You wear each set for about a week or two, then move on to the next one in the series. The trays are clear and smooth, so there are no brackets or wires, and you simply take them out to eat, drink, and brush. Because the whole plan is mapped in 3D before you start, you can see your expected result up front.
The result is a straighter smile that comes together quietly, without anyone having to know you are doing it.
