Sedation dentistry allows you to get the dental care you need without stress. However you feel about the dentist, we will meet you where you are.

Comfort & Sedation
Sedation dentistry uses safe, proven medication to help you relax and feel comfortable during treatment. It helps far more than just anxious patients: it eases a sensitive gag reflex, makes longer visits comfortable, and lets us complete more care in fewer, easier appointments. If nerves have kept you away from the dentist, you are not alone, and you are in exactly the right place.
No matter the severity of your anxiety, we have an option to help your visit feel calm and comfortable.

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, is a gentle sedative you simply breathe in through a small mask over your nose. Within minutes you feel relaxed and at ease, while staying fully awake and able to talk with us. When your visit is done the mask comes off and the effects wear away almost immediately, so you can drive yourself home and carry on with your day.

Oral Sedation
For stronger anxiety or longer treatment, we offer oral sedation: a prescription sedative you take in pill form before your visit. You stay awake and able to respond, but deeply relaxed and at ease, and many patients remember very little about the appointment afterward. Because it can leave you drowsy, you will need someone to drive you to and from the office.
Who It Helps
Sedation helps far more patients than just those with dental anxiety. See if any of these sound like you.

If past experiences or simple nervousness have kept you from scheduling the care you know you need, sedation helps you stay calm and comfortable so you can get through your appointment without the stress that has been holding you back.

When your plan involves several steps or extended time in the chair, sedation lets us complete more in fewer visits while you stay relaxed from start to finish, so a bigger appointment feels far more manageable.

If dental instruments, impressions, or even routine cleanings tend to trigger discomfort, our nitrous oxide and oral sedation options keep you at ease so treatment feels smooth and comfortable.
Patients tell us the same story every week: the same cycle of avoidance, the same breaking point, and the same relief once they learn sedation is an option. See if any of these feel familiar.

If these patterns sound familiar, sedation dentistry could remove the barrier between you and the comfortable, stress-free care you deserve.
Beyond sedation, every visit is designed to feel easy. A few of the little things that make a big difference:
